Four-star Ohio running back Jordan Marshall is an elite Michigan football commit in the class of 2024, and as of right now, he is the No. 1 committed player in the Wolverines’ top-5 recruiting class. Recently, his rankings were updated, and he is now pinned among the top-3 running backs in the country.

Elite Michigan football commit just outside of the top 30 nationally

The summer recruiting rankings have seen their ups and downs when it comes to the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. For four-star Ohio running back Jordan Marshall, an elite prospect for the Wolverines, these new rankings have thrown him way up the ladder, currently placing him as Jim Harbaugh’s top 2024 commit.

Additionally, Jordan Marshall is ranked just outside of the nation’s top 30 overall prospects (per ON3), coming in at No. 31 in his class. He is also ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Ohio, making him an even more valuable asset for the Wolverines, who have turned the tables on Ohio State on the field and on the recruiting trail as of late.

Four-star Ohio running back Jordan Marshall is the top commit in Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 class thus far

Perhaps most impressively, this elite Michigan football commit is now among the nation’s top 3 running backs, coming in at No. 2 at his position for the 2024 recruiting cycle. Notably, Marshall jumped Buckeye RB commit Jordan Lyle and former top Michigan target Taylor Tatum in these new rankings, further proving that Jim Harbaugh has an impressive eye for less-seen talent.

The current Michigan football recruiting class has 26 hard commits and counting, and while the Wolverines still have a few more targets on the board, the core of the class is set in place. Now, Michigan must maintain these commits and get to the national signing day next year, perhaps locking down the best recruiting class of Jim Harbaugh’s 9-year tenure as head coach in Ann Arbor.
