Blake Frazier, the son of 1997 Michigan football national champion Steve Frazier, could be the next massive addition to the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. According to On3, Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines are heavy favorites to land Frazier’s commitment and add to their already impressive 2024 class — a class that currently ranks 11th overall and 2nd in the Big Ten.
Michigan football recruiting the favorite for Blake Frazier
Blake Frazier is a 6-5, 260 pound offensive lineman in the 2024 class — he is a product of Vandegrift High School in Austin, TX, and is an On3 four-star recruit. Frazier is ranked as the No. 275 player in his class, the No. 19 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 54 player in Texas. Additionally, Frazier is the son of Steve Frazier, won two Big Ten titles and a national title with the Wolverines from 1995-99 during his playing days.
Later this month, from march 17th-20th, Blake Frazier will be on a visit with Michigan football recruiting in Ann Arbor, MI. Two weeks ago, when Frazier’s visit to Michigan was first announced, it felt too early to be making any bold predictions about his recruitment; however, On3 now lists Michigan football as a heavy favorite to land him.
According to the Recruiting Prediction Machine, Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan Wolverines have a 94.9% chance to pull Blake Frazier when his recruitment is all said and done. The other three top schools listed in his recruitment are Texas, Texas A&M, and Clemon — Michigan has plenty of big-name competition, though are still in the lead for this UM legacy prospect.
