Today, Jim Harbaugh landed a 4th offensive lineman to his newest recruiting class. On Sunday afternoon, the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class added four-star legacy recruit Blake Frazier — a top-ranked offensive lineman — to its ranks. With the addition of Frazier over the weekend, it is clear that Michigan football has an elite set of 2024 offensive line commits, with all four ranking in the top 50 among their positions.
2024 Michigan football recruiting adds fourth offensive lineman over the weekend
The 2024 Michigan football recruiting class is now ranked No. 3 in the nation according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings. The Wolverines have 12 hard commits: one five-star, eight four-stars, and three three-stars. With today’s commitment from Blake Frazier — one of Michigan’s top 2024 targets — Michigan football now has four offensive linemen committed, all of which are ranked as four-stars by one or all primary recruiting services. Looking at the rankings for Michigan’s new offensive linemen, it’s clear that this class is becoming elite quickly.
Blake Frazier
This afternoon, Michigan football landed four-star offensive tackle Blake Frazier out of Texas. Frazier — the son of Michigan national champion Steve Frazier — is rated as a four-star by the 247 Sports Composite and is ranked as the No. 17 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 38 player in the state of Texas.
Andrew Sprague
Andrew Sprague — the highest-ranked offensive line commit in the class to this point — is also a 247 Sports Composite four-star offensive tackle and recently announced his commitment to the Wolverines. Sprague is ranked as the No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Missouri. He is a massive addition to the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class.
Luke Hamilton
Luke Hamilton is Michigan’s 3rd 247 Sports Composite four-star offensive lineman and is a significant grab for a few reasons. First, Hamilton is incredibly talented as an interior offensive lineman and should make a significant splash during his time in the Maize and Blue. Second, Hamilton is one of many four-star Ohio prospects to commit to Jim Harbaugh following the Wolverines’ massive win in Columbus last fall. Hamilton is ranked as the No. 23 interior offensive lineman and the No. 12 player in the state of Ohio.
Ben Roebuck
Unlike Michigan’s other offensive linemen, Ben Roebuck is not a composite four-star yet. Still, the Rivals Network is high on Roebuck and has him listed as a four-star offensive lineman. According to the composite rankings, Roebuck is the No. 29 offensive tackle and No. 15 recruit in the state of Ohio, meaning that Michigan’s lowest-rated offensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class is still a top 30 player at his position and a top 15 player in a rival’s state.
