This week, Jadyn Davis will be competing in the Elite 11 finals in Los Angeles alongside a few other elite quarterbacks from around the nation. So far, the five-star Michigan football commit has been turning heads nationally despite recently dropping in the rankings. Ahead of this skills event, Davis had a chance to break down how he is approaching recruiting, especially since he is at such a huge national event.

Jadyn Davis is going after some of the nation’s best talent. According to Davis, his recruiting pitch looks a bit different than what some might expect.

According to Davis, his approach to recruiting some of the nation’s top recruits is a bit different than what other players and coaches do.

“The way I recruit guys is probably a lot different than other guys,” Davis said, according to ON3. “If a guy hits me up and tells me he’s interested in Michigan, then I’m all for it. I’m not a guy that about to sit up and wait for a response and text you good morning every day.

“If you’re interested for real, then I’m going to talk to you and keep it real with you. I want to see everyone win. I know you’re not going to get every recruit that you want. Everybody is trying to chase their dream of getting to the NFL. Whatever school that they chose, they feel like that’s in their heart, that’s the school that can help them get there. I have nothing but respect for that.”

Some players are relentless in their pursuit of the nation’s best, while others want to be surrounded with players that are passionate about their program. Jadyn Davis, who has been steadfast in his commitment to the Michigan Wolverines for quite some time now, is the latter; so far, it has worked well for the rising five-star quarterback.

Right now, the Michigan Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 2 nationally and is expected to continue growing over the coming months. With Jadyn Davis competing in the Elite 11 finals against commits from Ohio State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Penn State, and more, things are looking good for the Maize and Blue’s elite five-star quarterback commit and the recruiting class as a whole right now.
