Bryce Underwood is undoubtedly the No. 1 Michigan football target in the class of 2025. In fact, for the Maize and Blue, no recruit in the nation is more important than Underwood, who is a major five-star quarterback with a great deal of national interest. According to the ON3 recruiting rankings, Underwood is the top-ranked recruit in the nation. He is also the consensus No. 1 quarterback and No. 1 player in the state of Michigan in the 2025 recruiting class.

Recently, this highly talented in-state quarterback prospect had the opportunity to showcase his remarkable arm talent, and it’s evident why Michigan football is so determined to recruit him.

Bryce Underwood has been gaining national attention with a series of recent visits, creating a buzz around his recruitment. The prevailing belief is that Michigan football, Ohio State, Alabama, and LSU are currently the top contenders for his commitment.

Despite belonging to the 2025 recruiting cycle, Bryce Underwood is expected to make his commitment within the next six months. Securing a player of his exceptional caliber early on could potentially jumpstart the most successful recruiting class of Jim Harbaugh’s tenure, provided that Michigan football successfully recruits him. Reports indicate that Bryce Underwood will announce his college decision on January 6th of next year.

Keep a close watch on Bryce Underwood in the upcoming months. Being in Michigan’s own backyard, he has the potential to become one of the most significant recruiting victories the Wolverines have ever seen, particularly during the Jim Harbaugh era.
