Today, major four-star defensive line target TA Cunningham, a Miami Central High School product, released his top 5 remaining teams. Among these select few programs is Michigan football recruiting, which will undoubtedly look to make a strong push for his commitment as his final decision nears.

Michigan football is in elite company as a finalist for TA Cunningham, a top 30 defensive line target in the 2024 recruiting class. According to today’s announcement, Cunningham will be choosing from these schools when the time comes: Michigan football, Penn State, Oklahoma, Miami, and Texas A&M. According to the Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Miami Hurricanes currently have the best odds of landing this top-ranked Florida recruit.

According to the ON3 industry recruiting rankings, TA Cunningham is a four-star defensive line target in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 257 player nationally, the No. 28 defensive lineman in his cycle, and the No. 36 player in the state of Florida. His massive 6-foot-7, 275-pound frame makes him an ideal target for schools like Michigan football and Penn State, both of which play in the physical and run-heavy Big Ten conference.

“Last time I was in Ann Arbor the coaching staff had a plan for me and knew everything about how I liked to play,” TA Cunningham said, per Hayes Fawcett of ON3. “Also why not get coached in an NFL-style defense with some of the craziest fans in CFB?”
