The most prominent recruiting news for the Wolverines right now is the loss of four-star linebacker commit Mantrez Walker, who officially re-opened his recruitment last night. That said, if you’re looking for a bit of good news, here it is — elite Michigan football quarterback recruit Jadyn Davis, a member of the 2024 recruiting class, had yet another elite performance last weekend. Once again, it appears that Davis could be gunning to regain his five-star status, and it is clear that the future of Jim Harbaugh’s offense is in good hands.
Elite Michigan football quarterback recruit impresses once again
At this point, we have been able to report on impressive games for Jadyn Davis every week. Last Friday, during his fourth game of the 2023 season — his final year before joining the Michigan football program next fall — the story remained the same. Davis, who was a five-star when he committed to the Wolverines, yet is down to four-star status, shined bright once again heading into the weekend.
During Providence Day’s massive 49-7 victory last week — their fourth-straight win of the season — Jadyn Davis posted some incredible stats:
- 11 for 13 passing (85% completion)
- 200 passing yards
- Three touchdowns
- No interceptions
Insane season stats for Jadyn Davis (2024 recruiting class)
On the season, the elite Michigan football quarterback recruit — who we think should be a five-star once again — is up to 1,213 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns, and no interceptions. He has also completed 70 of his 93 pass attempts this year (over 75%). Mind you, he has done all of this in just four games of the 2023 high school football season.
