Ahead of the 2023 college football season, which is expected to be a huge year for the Maize and Blue, Michigan football star offensive lineman Zak Zinter has been ranked as one of the top 50 players in the sport. The Wolverines are poised to make another run at the Big Ten title and secure a spot in the four-team College Football Playoff for the third-straight season. If the Maize and Blue are to achieve this, Zinter and Michigan’s offensive line must perform at a high level, potentially earning them another Joe Moore Award this fall.

Michigan football O-Line star Zak Zinter ranked as a top 50 player in college football

According to the On3 Sports Network, Michigan football star offensive lineman Zak Zinter is ranked as the No. 48 player in all of college football, making him a top 50 player in the game. The Maize and Blue are renowned for their elite offensive line play, which has led Jim Harbaugh’s program to win a pair of Big Ten titles and secure top 3 finishes in this decade.

Zak Zinter has played a significant role in the Wolverines’ recent offensive line success, contributing to both Joe Moore Award-winning lines and earning an All-Big Ten selection. Undoubtedly, Zinter is one of the top players in college football and is expected to be a high pick in the future NFL Draft. This fall, Michigan is aiming for their first national title since 1997, and they seem well-positioned to achieve that goal.

To overcome Ohio State, win the Big Ten conference, and achieve more success this fall, Michigan needs to emphasize Zak Zinter and the offensive line for the third consecutive year. Currently, it appears that Zinter and the O-Line are preparing for another exceptional campaign, potentially securing a third Joe Moore Award and setting a new NCAA record.
