Who will be starting at quarterback next fall for Michigan football? Well, for the time being, that remains to be seen — the Wolverines have a number of solid options on the roster right now, and JJ McCarthy still has an NFL decision to make.
While Jadyn Davis will be getting to campus later this year, there is little chance that Jim Harbaugh decides to start a freshman at quarterback; that said, seeing as Davis has created a lot of buzz thus far, it is expected that he could make a splash when it comes to NIL opportunity in the coming year.
According to On3’s high school NIL valuation tool, Jadyn Davis is among the top prospects in value; in fact, he cracked the top 15 as of the machine’s latest update.
The Michigan football quarterback signee, who made his commitment to the Wolverines official last Wednesday during college football’s Early Signing Period, is valued as the No. 15 high school player in the nation — of course, this takes into account all high school players, not just those who have signed or are in the 2024 recruiting class.
Davis’s 54,000-person social media following, as well as his name recognition status among Michigan football fans and beyond, earn him a valuation of around $383,000 — by far the best among Jim Harbaugh’s newest signees. matter of fact, for the time being, Davis remains the only Michigan recruit among the top 100 in NIL valuation, per On3.

While Michigan football is locked in on the task at hand — which is beating Alabama and advancing to the national championship game — the Wolverines’ future appears to be as bright as ever right now.
