ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Today is a significant recruiting day for Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines — many of the best players in the nation have made the trip to Ann Arbor, MI, for the program’s annual ‘BBQ at the Big House’ event. Among these top targets are a few of the most promising Michigan football commits in the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes, including I’Marion Stewart, Chris Ewald, and Jacob Oden, all of whom are spending time with Michigan legend Charles Woodson today.

Charles Woodson is in Ann Arbor with a few top Michigan football commits

According to their Twitter posts from today, some top Michigan football commits are in Ann Arbor, hanging out with arguably the greatest college football player to ever wear the winged helmet — Charles Woodson. Woodson led the Maize and Blue to a Big Ten and national championship in 1997, winning the Heisman Trophy along the way. He is currently on-site with some of the Wolverines’ best prospects.

For Jim Harbaugh and his upcoming recruiting classes, having a legend like Charles Woodson ready to help make an impression is an incredible advantage. For these prospective commits, meeting a player like Woodson, who is regarded as one of the greatest players to ever grace the game at any level, serves as another reminder of what they can achieve with the Maize and Blue and beyond.
