On June 29th, which is fast approaching, Jeremiah Beasley, a top Michigan football recruiting target, will announce his commitment decision.
The Wolverines are considered top contenders for this top 5 in-state recruit, and with recent misses on talents like Aaron Chiles and Darien Mayo, Beasley has become a top priority recruit for the Maize and Blue. This weekend, ahead of his official visit, the four-star Michigan target will be in SEC country for his final official visit, which will be with the Missouri Tigers. This is a major visit to watch for Wolverine fans.
Major Michigan football recruiting target taking a visit to SEC program ahead of decision date
This weekend will mark the final wave of official visits for June. This month has been kind to the Wolverines so far, as Michigan football currently boasts the No. 2 ranked class in the nation heading into July. However, the Maize and Blue have experienced a few recent losses on the defensive side of the ball. Most recently, Bryce West committed to Ohio State.
Over the past week, two major losses were both edge rushers/linebackers in the 2024 class: Aaron Chiles and Darien Mayo, who were both considered strong favorites to pick the Wolverines. With these two misses, in-state four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley has become a top priority for Michigan football recruiting. It is expected that Beasley will choose the Wolverines.
Beasley’s decision date is currently set for June 29th, which is approaching rapidly. Before committing, the four-star linebacker will take his final official visit with the Missouri Tigers of the SEC. This visit holds significant importance for Beasley and Michigan football, as it appears to be the only obstacle in the way of Jim Harbaugh securing yet another top-ranked blue-chip prospect in this recruiting cycle.
According to the 247 Sports rankings, Jeremiah Beasley is a four-star linebacker, ranked as the No. 237 recruit in the nation, the No. 25 linebacker in the class, and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Michigan. If the Wolverines can secure Beasley’s commitment on the 29th, it will mark yet another significant recruiting win for the Maize and Blue, and could result in a great deal of momentum heading into the summer.
